What happened at the 2008 Governor’s Deer Opener

2009 marks the 61st year of the Governor’s Fishing Opener event, a long standing tradition in Minnesota.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2008, an Explore Minnesota Tourism official will hand the keys to a new Toyota Prius Hybrid to Grand-Prize-Winners Terry and Linda Herr of Bismarck, N.D. The Herrs won a two-year lease on this Prius, provided by Luther Auto Group, through Explore Minnesota Tourism’s Summer of Fun Giveaway, which ended on June 30, 2008.

Explore Minnesota Tourism hosts familiarization tours for international travel agents, tour operators and media representatives.
