Sweepstakes continue into fall 2008 and winter 2008-09

ST. PAUL (August 8, 2008) - On Tuesday, August 12, 2008, an Explore Minnesota Tourism official will hand the keys to a new Toyota Prius Hybrid to Grand-Prize-Winners Terry and Linda Herr of Bismarck, N.D. The Herrs won a two-year lease on this Prius, provided by Luther Auto Group, through Explore Minnesota Tourism’s Summer of Fun Giveaway, which ended on June 30, 2008.

Explore Minnesota Tourism partnered with Luther Auto Group, Arctic Cat, Erik’s Bike Shop, Golf Galaxy and a variety of other well-known Minnesota tourism industry attractions and destinations to award prizes weekly throughout April, May and June. The Seasons of Fun promotion will continue with additional sweepstakes opportunities into the fall and winter. The Autumn of Adventure Giveaway begins August 4, 2008 and will continue through September 30, 2008, culminating with a grand prize of a Ford Escape Hybrid. Other featured prizes include an Arctic Cat ATV, a Hardrock XC bicycle, three nights’ lodging at Cragun’s Resort & Hotel on Gull Lake, a Blue Ribbon Bait and Tackle guided fishing trip, a $500 Golf Galaxy gift card, and a package of six single-day tickets to the Minnesota Zoo.
